Edge of Space

Research

Open Project

Project Description

This educational project invites the public to collaborate on designing high-altitude balloon experiments that provide students with a unique, "edge of space" perspective. Participants will contribute to creating accessible, real-time balloon missions that reach the upper atmosphere, offering students an immersive way to learn about space, atmospheric science, and engineering. Through this hands-on experience, students can engage with cutting-edge technology and explore the wonders of near-space environments.

Support Opportunities

We're seeking resources to bring this project to students! Donations, volunteers, and connections to schools are essential to making this unique "edge of space" learning experience accessible to more students. If you have skills in engineering, education, or atmospheric science—or if you can support us through funding, equipment, or outreach—we'd love your help. Together, we can inspire the next generation in space exploration and STEM!
